Terms of Service & Warranty

1. Business Details & Scope

These Terms of Service govern all quotations, custom steel fabrication orders, palisade fencing, driveway gate manufacture, and on-site installations provided by TK Staalwerke (Pty) Ltd (Registration: 019/292373/07, VAT: 4010288175).

2. Workmanship & Structural Guarantee

TK Staalwerke takes full pride in its 28+ year fabrication heritage. We guarantee:

• 100% In-House Fabrication: Every cut, jig, and weld is inspected and signed off in our Odendaalsrus workshop with zero unauthorized third-party subcontracting.
• Structural Integrity Guarantee: All structural frames, welds, and carport anchors are backed by a structural workmanship guarantee against fabrication defects.
• Materials Compliance: Structural steel conforms to South African standards aligned with the Southern African Institute of Steel Construction (SAISC).
• Corrosion Protection: Galvanised elements comply with hot-dip galvanising standards for long-term climate endurance across the Free State.

3. Quotations & 48-Hour Turnaround

We commit to issuing detailed written quotations within 48 working hours from receipt of finalized site specifications, drawings, or on-site survey measurements.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue, after which steel raw material price adjustments may apply.

4. Payment & Order Confirmation

Custom fabrication commences upon receipt of an agreed deposit (typically 50% for bespoke manufactured steelwork) and written confirmation of measurements or approved shop drawings. Balance payment is due upon final installation or collection from our workshop.

5. Site Access & Installation

For on-site installations (gates, palisade fencing, carports, and structural awnings), clients agree to provide clear and safe site access, identify any underground services prior to excavation, and ensure power connectivity where required for on-site welding or automation commissioning.
